Artist's Statement
Art of Living is my principle idea for making my Art. Art and life are inseparable. Art brings us happiness, sympathy, peace, joy, relaxation to everyday of our life.

For me, Art perception is not bounded only in the art museums or in galleries. I hope to bring this aesthetic close into our daily life. It is always a challenge for me to create functional object, which are able to speak and communicate with ones that they can both see and taste the beauty.

Clay is a mundane medium that I use to create my art. It is not like any other materials, it is responsive and extremely sensitive to the touch. It allows for the most amount of personal expression. It can be used to make beautiful things, useful things, through provoking things.

I am always looking for creating something and how it can be used and served. My works are always abstract and simple container form; a vessel that looks like sculpture. I concentrate on the invention of form more than the embellishment of surface, a large gesture rather than the detail, focus on the composition of the mass and curve movement and volume of the form. I use minimum colors in order to see and show clearly the outline.

I try to represent a functional sculpture, which gives a sense of peace, soft, gentle and pleasure that welcome to the touch. Form, Function and Beauty become one.
